Miles Between Us

I wish I could cut the miles between us and be just where you are. I wish I could fly off to where you are and just live with you the way we are meant to be.  But there is a time for that and I understand that we must first fulfill my responsibilities.  But that doesn't stop me from missing you every single day, my love.
You are in my thoughts 24 hours a day seven days a week, and 365 days a year.  You are always here with me in my mind, in my heart, and in my soul.  You are the one who gives me the strength to go through each day, even though  I know there's no chance we will see each other. But even then, I keep going because every day that goes by is a day that brings me closer to you.
